Who should get it

TravelOne is currently the most flexible mid-premium travel card in India: 20 transfer programmes (15 airlines + 5 hotels), most at 1:1, with app-based transfers that land near-instantly for most partners and no published annual transfer cap.

It suits anyone spending ₹8 lakh+ a year who wants miles optionality without a super-premium fee — the annual fee reverses in full at that spend. Heavy Marriott/Accor users get the only mainstream 1:1 hotel transfers left after Axis dropped both in April 2026.

HSBC TravelOne FAQs

Which airlines and hotels can I transfer HSBC TravelOne points to?

As of June 2026 there are 20 programmes: Air India Maharaja Club, Flying Blue, British Airways Avios, Etihad, EVA Air, JAL, Qantas, Qatar Privilege Club, Singapore KrisFlyer, Thai Royal Orchid Plus, Vietnam Airlines and AirAsia at 1:1 or better, Turkish, United and Hainan at 2:1, plus Accor, Marriott Bonvoy, IHG and Wyndham at 1:1 and Shangri-La at 5:1. Transfers happen inside the HSBC India app and most land within a day.

Is the HSBC TravelOne annual fee waived?

Yes — the ₹4,999 + GST annual fee is reversed in full if you spend ₹8 lakh in the anniversary year. The separate ₹12 lakh milestone additionally awards 10,000 bonus points.

What is the TravelOne welcome offer?

Download and log on to the HSBC India Mobile Banking app, then spend ₹25,000 within the first 30 days of opening the card account to get ₹1,000 cashback, a ₹3,000 PostCard voucher and 3 months of EazyDiner Prime. Introductory-offer terms apply.

What forex markup does HSBC TravelOne charge?

The standard currency conversion charge is 3.5% + GST. A registration-based promotion that credited the markup back ended on 30 June 2026. Unless HSBC publishes a new offer and you successfully register, calculate international transactions using the standard markup.

Did HSBC TravelOne lose any transfer partners?

Yes — in March 2025 HSBC removed Aeroplan and InterMiles and devalued Turkish Airlines, United MileagePlus and Hainan from 1:1 to 2:1. The rest of the partner list, including all five hotel programmes, has held steady since launch.
