| Base reward categories | 1 SCoin/₹100 through other UPI apps or in base categories such as rent, railways, insurance, education, telecom and government. Small offline merchants below ₹2,000 are listed as a base category; restrictions still apply. |
| Accelerated earning | 5 SCoins/₹100 on eligible SalarySe UPI/card online/POS spending up to ₹20,000 in a billing cycle. Only incremental eligible spending above ₹20,000 earns 10 SCoins/₹100. Base/restricted categories and SalaryDay earning are separate. |
| SalaryDay conditions | 1st/last calendar day, SalarySe UPI only; unlock with at least ₹5,000 eligible non-SalaryDay spend. Physical: 37.5 SCoins/₹100, cap 5,625/cycle; virtual-only: 25/₹100, cap 3,750/cycle. Eligible SalaryDay spend capped ₹15,000/cycle; no stacking. |
| Point value and expiry | Issuer states 1 RP = 1 SCoin and 5 SCoins = ₹1; redeem within SalarySe under its available offers. Points expire after 18 months; fractional points round down. Cash conversion/offers can have different in-app value. |
| Effective advertised value | At the issuer’s stated ₹0.20/SCoin: base 0.2%, ordinary eligible accelerator 1%/2%, SalaryDay up to 7.5% physical or 5% virtual before rounding/caps. These are not guaranteed cash-redemption percentages. |
| Unresolved monthly cap | Issuer PDF says 10% of credit limit for base/accelerated rewards, but its ₹1 lakh-limit example says 1,000 RP. These do not agree. Confirm the applicable cap with CUB/SalarySe; SalaryDay award cap is separately stated. |
| Lounges and forex | Physical: 1 domestic lounge visit/month after ₹10,000 previous billing-cycle spend and 1% forex. Virtual: 2% forex; do not assume physical lounge entitlement. Applicable taxes/charges and live lounge eligibility apply. |
| Restricted categories | Cash, wallets/service providers, fuel/auto, quasi-cash/money transfers and gambling are restricted. Base categories earn only base rewards and cannot receive the accelerated/SalaryDay award. |

CUB Level UP only. Primary issuer feature PDF takes precedence over marketing reward-percent labels. Monthly cap wording conflicts with the issuer’s example and remains unresolved; physical/virtual terms are separated.
This is the City Union Bank Level UP card, separate from RBL SalarySe UP. The physical-plus-virtual and virtual-only variants have different fees, SalaryDay awards and travel benefits.
The issuer defines 5 SCoins = ₹1. Therefore 5/10 SCoins per ₹100 represent 1%/2% at that stated value; the advertised 37.5 SCoins per ₹100 SalaryDay award represents up to 7.5%, not 37.5% cash.
The issuer document has a material cap inconsistency: it says 10% of credit limit but illustrates only 1,000 points on a ₹1 lakh limit. Confirm the applicable cap with CUB/SalarySe before relying on a high-spend return.
Reward exclusions
Eligibility follows the merchant category code and transaction data received by the issuer, so the merchant name alone may not determine whether a transaction earns rewards.
CUB Level UP only. Primary issuer feature PDF takes precedence over marketing reward-percent labels. Monthly cap wording conflicts with the issuer’s example and remains unresolved; physical/virtual terms are separated.
No. The physical card’s SalaryDay award is 37.5 SCoins/₹100. At 5 SCoins = ₹1, that is up to 7.5% stated value before conditions, caps and rounding. Virtual-only SalaryDay is 25 SCoins/₹100, up to 5% stated value.
No. The issuer says only incremental eligible spend above ₹20,000 earns 10 SCoins/₹100; spend up to ₹20,000 remains at 5.
Spend at least ₹5,000 on eligible non-SalaryDay days. Use SalarySe UPI on the first/last day; base/restricted categories do not qualify, and eligible bonus spend is capped ₹15,000/cycle.
The virtual-only variant has nil joining/annual fees. Physical + virtual costs ₹500 + GST with a ₹2 lakh renewal waiver.
The issuer PDF’s 10%-of-limit wording conflicts with its example of 1,000 RP on a ₹1 lakh limit. Obtain issuer clarification rather than assuming a guaranteed cap.
