Horizon is Axis's mid-tier miles card: a flat 1 EDGE Mile = 1 partner mile to roughly 22 programmes, 5 EM per ₹100 on Travel EDGE portal and direct airline bookings, and generous transfer headroom (1 lakh Group A / 5 lakh total a year) that comfortably out-caps Atlas.
Pick it if you book flights directly with airlines and want straightforward 1:1 transfers without milestone games. Note what it lacks: no fee waiver, no milestones, and hotel bookings don't earn the accelerated rate. After the April 2026 partner change, Avios transfers (British Airways) cost double — plan around KrisFlyer, Flying Blue or Club ITC instead.
5,000 EDGE Miles, credited when your first transaction of ₹1,000 or more posts within 30 days of card issuance. From the second year, paying the annual fee earns a 1,500 EDGE Miles renewal benefit.
Around 22 programmes at 1 EDGE Mile = 1 partner mile, including Aeroplan, Etihad, JAL, KrisFlyer, Turkish, United, Flying Blue, Air India Maharaja Club, Qantas, Club ITC, IHG, Wyndham, Radisson and Orchid Rewards. On 2 April 2026 Axis removed Accor, Marriott Bonvoy and Qatar Privilege Club, and added British Airways Club, Finnair Plus and Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles at a reduced 2:1.
On the Visa Signature variant: 8 complimentary domestic lounge visits per quarter (up to 32 a year) plus 2 international visits per quarter (8 a year) for the primary cardholder. Guest visits are chargeable.
No. The ₹3,000 + GST annual fee has no spend-based waiver, and the card has no spend milestones — its value is concentrated in earn rate, the 1:1 transfer ratio and lounge access.
Atlas converts at 1:2, so each EDGE Mile becomes two partner miles versus Horizon's one — but Atlas has a much tighter 30,000-mile Group A annual transfer cap, a ₹5,000 fee and tier-based lounge access. Horizon trades raw yield for caps five times larger and a lower fee. Heavy transferrers to marquee airlines often hit Atlas's cap fast; Horizon rarely caps anyone.
