Who should get it

Best suited to regular Zomato, Blinkit and District users who can use the discounts without increasing their spending. Evaluate the extra benefit against the cards already in your wallet.

The ₹2,000 Eternal calendar-month discount allowance, ₹1,000 preferred-partner statement-cycle cashback cap and ₹500 base billing-cycle cap are distinct. They do not automatically align or stack on one purchase.

Small UPI payments lose value to ₹100-block rounding. This is an everyday discount/cashback card, rather than a lounge or points-transfer product.

Reward exclusions

Transactions that do not earn Statement cashback (separate from Eternal instant discounts)

Eligibility follows the merchant category code and transaction data received by the issuer, so the merchant name alone may not determine whether a transaction earns rewards.

  • Fuel, rent, insurance, jewellery, education, utilities and government payments
  • Gaming, wallets, gift/prepaid-card loads, cash advances, fees and charges
  • Merchant EMI and Flexipay; cashback can reverse on EMI conversion
  • Purchases receiving Eternal instant discount do not earn additional card cashback
  • Eternal FAQ excludes baby food/feeding essentials and tobacco/Paan Corner products from both discounts and cashback, including within Eternal apps

Eligible merchant identifiers and full MCC exclusions apply. Cashback uses completed ₹100 blocks per transaction; below ₹100 earns zero. Shared preferred-partner cashback cap ₹1,000/statement cycle; base cashback cap ₹500/billing cycle. Returns/reversals reduce cashback; do not assume restoration after EMI cancellation.

Does Blinkit grocery spending get 10% off?

Is ixigo a 5% cashback partner?

4% instant discount using IXIGOSBI plus 1% cashback. This is not 5% statement cashback; the post-discount charge and offer rules determine the final return.

How much cashback does a ₹199 UPI payment earn?

On an eligible RuPay merchant UPI purchase, only one completed ₹100 block qualifies: ₹1 cashback, not ₹1.99. A ₹99 payment earns zero. The ₹500 base-cashback cycle cap and exclusions apply.

Can I earn cashback on top of the Eternal instant discount?

Eternal instant-discount purchases do not earn additional card cashback. Do not assume the 10% District discount stacks with movie BOGO.

Does Eternal SBI include airport lounge access?
