Swiggy Ornge is a practical low-fee cashback card for households that regularly use Swiggy and also spend across eligible online merchants.
The combination of 5% cashback, automatic statement credit and a 12-month Swiggy One welcome membership makes the card easy to understand and use.
The trade-off is category discipline: Swiggy cashback caps at Rs 1,500 per billing cycle, other-spend cashback caps at Rs 1,000, a minimum Rs 249 transaction applies to 5% cashback, and several common categories earn nothing.

How much cashback does Swiggy Ornge earn on Swiggy?
It earns 5% cashback on eligible Swiggy Food Delivery, Instamart and Dineout transactions, capped at Rs 1,500 per billing cycle. Swiggy Money wallet and other excluded transactions do not qualify.
Does Swiggy Ornge earn 5% on all online spending?
No. The 5% online rate applies only to eligible merchants and MCC-based categories published by HDFC Bank. Transactions outside that list may earn the 1% eligible-spend rate or no cashback.
What welcome benefit comes with the card?
Cardholders receive a complimentary 12-month Swiggy One membership after activating the card through an eligible activation action.
What is the Swiggy Ornge fee waiver?
The joining and renewal fee is Rs 500 plus applicable taxes. Spend Rs 1.5 lakh or more in the year before renewal to have the next renewal fee waived.
How is cashback redeemed?
Cashback earned in the billing cycle is automatically applied as statement credit against the card account outstanding, subject to HDFC's cashback processing terms.
Does Swiggy Ornge include airport lounge access?
