How to Extend Accor ALL Reward Points Validity in India (2026)
Accor ALL Reward Points are valuable because they have a predictable redemption value: 2,000 Reward Points provide €40 off an eligible hotel bill. Depending on the exchange rate, one Accor point is generally worth around ₹2.
The drawback is that Accor points can expire quickly. Fortunately, you do not have to redeem your entire balance merely to prevent expiry.
This guide explains the expiry rule, whether redeeming points extends validity, and every practical option available to Indian members.
Important: Information checked in August 2026. Bank-transfer partners, Maximize conversion options and transfer ratios can change without notice. Always verify the final conversion screen before paying or transferring.
The Accor points expiry rule
Accor Reward Points remain valid for 365 consecutive days.
The validity of your entire Reward Points balance is extended for another 365 days when:
- A transaction results in at least some new Reward Points being credited to your ALL account; or
- You donate Reward Points through Accor’s designated donation platform.
If neither happens, all the Reward Points in the account expire together. It does not matter whether different batches of points were originally earned on different dates.
Accor’s current terms state that a partner transfer into your ALL account counts as an eligible credit. Therefore, even a small genuine transfer can refresh the validity of the entire existing balance. See the Accor ALL programme terms.
An example
Suppose you have 25,000 Accor points expiring on 20 August 2026.
If 50 new Reward Points are successfully credited on 10 August 2026, the validity should be recalculated for the whole balance, not only the 50 new points.
Your account would then contain 25,050 points with validity extended for 365 days from the qualifying activity. Check the expiry date shown in the ALL app after the points post.
Does redeeming some Accor points extend the unused points?
No. An ordinary redemption does not extend the validity of the remaining points.
This includes using points:
- During an online hotel booking
- At the hotel
- Against a restaurant bill
- For an experience
- For a car rental or partner reward
- By converting Accor points out to an airline programme
These transactions use or debit points. They do not credit new Reward Points to the account.
Answer to the common question
“I received an email saying my Accor points are going to expire. If I use some points for a hotel stay, will the validity of the unused points increase?”
No, not merely because you redeemed some points.
If the stay is paid completely with points and produces no new Reward Points, the unused balance will retain its existing expiry date.
There is one important exception: if you use points for part of an eligible stay, pay the remaining eligible amount in cash, and that cash portion earns new Accor Reward Points, the subsequent points credit should extend your balance. The extension comes from the new points earned, not from the redemption.
Do not rely on this close to expiry because stay points are normally credited only after checkout.
Best ways to extend Accor points for Indian members
1. Transfer MaxCoins from the Maximize app
At the time of writing, the Indian Maximize app has added ALL Accor as a transfer partner.
The reported conversion terms are:
- 100 MaxCoins = 50 Accor Reward Points
- Minimum transfer: 100 MaxCoins
- Maximum transfer: 50,000 MaxCoins
- Transfers in increments of 5 MaxCoins
- Transfers are reported as usually instant but may take up to 48 hours
Because this transaction credits new Reward Points, it should extend the validity of the entire Accor balance once the points are actually posted.
Cheapest simple option
If you already have at least 100 MaxCoins:
Convert 100 MaxCoins into 50 Accor Reward Points.
This is currently one of the smallest practical transfers available to an Indian member.
The ₹500 Amazon Pay balance method

> Buy 416 MaxCoins using ₹500 Apay balance
> Convert 416 MaxCoins to 208 Accor Pts
Or
> Convert 100 MaxCoins to 50 Accor Pts
> Convert 316 MaxCoins + ₹36 to ₹352 Apay GV
Currently working, but nothing lasts forever.
DYOR & follow… https://t.co/zYHjj5GXqL pic.twitter.com/F0XOCNbq0L
A currently circulated method is:
Use ₹500 of Amazon Pay balance to buy 416 MaxCoins.
Convert 416 MaxCoins into 208 Accor Reward Points.
Alternatively:
Convert 100 MaxCoins into 50 Accor Reward Points.
Use the remaining 316 MaxCoins plus ₹36 to buy a ₹352 Amazon Pay gift voucher.
The second option aims to use only the minimum 100 MaxCoins needed for the Accor transfer while recovering most of the remaining value through an Amazon Pay voucher.
Maximize advertises MaxCoins as a reward balance with a nominal value of ₹1 per MaxCoin. However, the exact number of MaxCoins received, available denominations, payment methods, voucher prices and Accor transfer ratio can change. Check the live terms on Maximize.
Before proceeding, confirm in the app that:
- ALL Accor is visible as an active transfer partner.
- The minimum is still 100 MaxCoins.
- The displayed ratio is still 2 MaxCoins to 1 Accor point.
- Your name and ALL membership details match.
- The transfer will produce Reward Points, not another type of benefit.
- Your points can arrive before the expiry date.
This route is new and its public documentation is limited. Treat it as a currently working opportunity, not a permanent guarantee. Nothing lasts forever in the points-and-miles world.
2. Transfer HSBC India Reward Points
HSBC India is an official Accor transfer partner.
| HSBC product | Conversion |
|---|---|
| HSBC Privé | 1,000 HSBC points → 1,000 Accor points |
| HSBC Premier | 1,000 HSBC points → 1,000 Accor points |
| HSBC TravelOne | 1,000 HSBC points → 1,000 Accor points |
| HSBC Platinum | 2,000 HSBC points → 1,000 Accor points |
Transfers are initiated through HSBC’s mobile-banking app. The HSBC and Accor accounts must belong to the same person. See the official HSBC India–Accor terms.
This is an excellent option if you already possess sufficient HSBC points. Use the smallest transfer allowed if your only aim is extending validity.
3. Transfer eligible HDFC Bank Reward Points
Some HDFC cards currently provide Accor transfers through SmartBuy’s miles-transfer section. Recent transfer menus show a 2:1 ratio: two eligible HDFC Reward Points for one Accor Reward Point, on supported cards.
Eligibility depends on the exact card and can change. Cards commonly reported with access include selected variants of:
- Infinia
- Diners Club Black
- Regalia Gold
- Certain eligible business cards
Not every HDFC card has airline and hotel transfer access. Millennia, MoneyBack and older or lower-tier cards should not be assumed eligible.
Open SmartBuy, select Miles Transfer and inspect your personal partner list. If Accor is not displayed inside your account, your card or current programme configuration is not eligible.
4. Transfer Kotak reward miles from an eligible card
Kotak’s published partner-miles table includes Accor for certain eligible products, including cards under its Solitaire or travel-focused programmes. A commonly published Accor conversion is two eligible Kotak miles for one Accor point, although the ratio and minimum can differ by product.
Check the transfer page attached to your particular Kotak card. Do not rely on another cardholder’s menu because eligibility can be product-specific.
5. Transfer points from an eligible SBI Card
Selected SBI Card travel or premium reward programmes have offered transfers to Accor, commonly at a 2:1 ratio. This may include certain SBI Card MILES variants and selected premium cards.
Verify the current partner list and minimum transfer inside the SBI Card app. Ordinary SBI Card Reward Points are not automatically transferable merely because another SBI product supports Accor.
6. Complete an eligible paid Accor stay
A normal eligible stay at a participating Accor hotel is the most straightforward official way to reset validity.
To ensure that the stay earns points:
- Book directly through ALL.com, the ALL app, an Accor hotel or another eligible Accor channel.
- Enter your ALL membership number.
- Use an eligible paid rate.
- Make sure the guest and membership names match.
- Avoid third-party online travel agents unless the rate explicitly qualifies.
- Confirm that the hotel participates in ALL.
- Retain the invoice until the points post.
Points from a hotel stay are associated with the checkout date. Merely making a future reservation does not extend validity. If your points expire on 20 August, a stay with checkout on 25 August will be too late.
7. Earn points at a participating Accor restaurant or bar
Accor permits members to earn Reward Points at participating restaurants, bars and other listed venues without booking a room.
Under the current “Outside of a Stay” offer:
- Members can earn one Reward Point per euro of eligible spending.
- Taxes, service charges and tips are excluded.
- The bill must be paid directly at the participating venue.
- Points may take up to seven days to appear.
- Not every Accor restaurant or service participates.
Ask the venue before ordering whether non-resident dining transactions earn ALL Reward Points. Give or scan your membership details and keep the itemised invoice.
8. Earn points through an eligible car rental
Accor members can earn Reward Points through participating rental partners such as Hertz, Europcar and SIXT.
Examples advertised by Accor include:
- Hertz: points based on eligible euro spending
- Europcar: points on eligible rentals in participating locations
- SIXT: fixed point bands based on eligible rental expenditure
Availability varies by country and rental location. An Indian member can use the opportunity while renting in a supported country, even if the rental is outside India.
Reserve through the Accor partner link, add your membership number and ensure the renter’s name matches the ALL account. Partner points can take several weeks to arrive, so this is not a good emergency method. View the Accor car-rental partners.
9. Convert incoming airline miles into Accor points
Some airline programmes allow miles to be converted into Accor Reward Points. This is different from converting Accor points out to an airline.
| Airline programme | Indicative incoming conversion |
|---|---|
| Qatar Airways Privilege Club | 3,500 Avios → 1,000 Accor points |
| Emirates Skywards | 4,000 miles → 1,000 Accor points |
| Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer | 4,500 miles → 1,000 Accor points |
| Finnair Plus | 2,300 Avios → 500 Accor points |
Some additional partnerships, including IndiGo BluChip and Flying Blue, may offer two-way conversion or linked earning subject to their respective terms.
These ratios are usually poor if your only objective is extending validity. Consider them only if you have stranded airline miles, cannot use a cheaper method, or genuinely want more Accor points. The names on both loyalty accounts normally must match. Check the Accor airline-partner directory.
10. Earn through other current Accor partners
Accor’s partner directory periodically includes opportunities involving shopping portals, travel activities, airport services, eSIM purchases, Priority Pass memberships, mobility services and country-specific retailers.
An Indian ALL member may sometimes use an international partner, provided the partner accepts Indian customers and its terms do not impose a residency restriction.
The essential test is simple: Will the transaction credit at least one ALL Reward Point before the existing balance expires?
11. Donate Accor Reward Points
Accor’s current rules provide an unusual exception: a qualifying donation of Reward Points through its designated donation platform can extend validity even though points are debited rather than credited.
This is different from an ordinary redemption. Only a donation conducted through the platform and organisations recognised in Accor’s programme terms should be relied upon.
Check whether donations are available to Indian accounts, the minimum donation and the revised expiry date after the debit posts. Do not assume that transferring points to an airline, buying an experience or making another kind of redemption has the same effect.
Methods that normally do not extend validity
The following actions should not be treated as qualifying extensions unless they separately cause new points to be credited:
- Making a hotel reservation
- Redeeming points for a hotel stay
- Spending only part of the balance
- Converting Accor points to airline miles
- Purchasing an Accor gift card without earning points
- Transferring points out to another programme
- Moving from one membership status to another
- Receiving a refund of previously used points
- Linking an airline or partner account
- Paying for an ineligible stay through an online travel agency
- Staying at a non-participating hotel
- Dining at a venue that does not participate in ALL’s outside-stay offer
A booking confirmation is not qualifying activity. The points must actually be credited to the account.
What about Axis Bank points?
Axis Bank was historically one of the best Accor transfer routes for Indian cardholders, especially Atlas, Magnus and Reserve users.
However, Axis removed Accor from its live transfer-partner menu in April 2026. Some older Axis and Accor pages or PDF documents may still mention the partnership. Do not transfer or collect Axis points on the assumption that Accor remains available.
Only trust the partner list currently displayed in your Axis transfer portal.
The safest strategy after receiving an expiry email
- Confirm the expiry date inside your ALL account rather than relying only on the email.
- Select a method that will credit points, not merely initiate a transaction.
- Prefer an instant or quick transfer, such as MaxCoins or eligible bank points.
- Complete the transaction at least seven days before expiry where possible.
- Wait for the new points to appear.
- Sign out and back in, then check the revised validity in the ALL app or website.
- Save screenshots of the old expiry date, transfer confirmation and new credit.
- If the expiry date is not updated, contact Accor before the original deadline.
For a bank, airline or other partner transfer, allow additional time. Accor recognises the date the partner points are credited, so initiating a transfer before expiry may not protect you if the points arrive afterward.
Which method should you choose?
For most Indian users, the practical order is:
- Convert 100 MaxCoins into 50 Accor points, if the option is live and you already have MaxCoins.
- Transfer the smallest permitted number of points from an eligible HSBC, HDFC, Kotak or SBI account.
- Earn points through an eligible nearby Accor restaurant.
- Complete a genuinely required eligible paid hotel stay.
- Use an airline-to-Accor conversion only when the above routes are unavailable.
- Consider an eligible donation if it is available and the required donation makes sense.
The main lesson is simple:
To preserve your Accor balance, add a small number of new Reward Points, not merely spend the old ones.
Once the incoming points have posted, verify that Accor has extended the validity of the entire remaining balance for another 365 days.
